Katie Rederick began dancing at the age of three and danced in the Yankton community for 16 years before moving to Omaha, NE where she was a member and instructor of the Omaha Ballet Theater Company and Omaha Beef Prime Dance team. She grew up taking classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, character, dance team, hip-hop, and modern dance.

She has danced in numerous productions such as The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Midsummer night’s dream, and many more. She has attended workshops and summer intensives with Giordano Dance, Northwest Ballet Theater, Ballet Magnificat, American Midwest Ballet, and Universal Dance Association. Katie has been a dance instructor and choreographer for the past 13 years including being a coach for the Yankton High School Dance team and Sioux Falls O’Gorman Dance team.

She is a traveling choreographer for numerous High Schools in South Dakota and Nebraska. With having a passion for dance she also owns her own Salon & Spa in the heart of downtown Yankton. She has two boys, Jax and Cooper, along with a baby girl named Harley Jo. This will be her seventh year teaching hip-hop at the studio.
